Mama...

Well, I finally said it. I said mama for the first time today. I have practiced a lot throughout the day since I first said it and think I have it perfected now. Mommy couldn't be more proud of me!

Mommy and I were having fun last night after my bath....can you see how long my hair is getting now? Soon I will have hair as long as my Mommy....okay, maybe not too soon. :)

Here are some pictures of me getting ready for church this morning. Mommy gave me the brush so I could brush my own hair....how does this brush thing work anyway?

After church this morning we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Deiter. I sure had a lot of fun there. Grandma found all kinds of fun things for me to play with.

I was so worn out after our visit that I slept the entire car ride home.

Picture Day

I've been sick all week and got some more medicine on Tuesday, I was running a fever and throwing up from Monday night until Wednesday morning. I feel better now but still have a terrible cough.

I was supposed to get my 9 month pictures taken Thursday evening, but we got some icy weather and we didn't want to try to drive in it (and the mall closed at 5pm that day anyway).

Mommy talked to some friends of hers and they told her to try Sears Portrait studio instead of Penney's so that is what we did this time. We loved it. They took us right at our appt time and really tried hard to make us happy and used all different types of backgrounds and poses. We will be going back there for the rest of our pictures!

Daddy said we should by the cd with the pictures on it so we did that too. Now I can share some of the best pictures with all of you....I'll be sending pictures to all of my Grandma's and Grandpa's when they come in on March 3rd.

Check me out now. I'm able to get up on my knees a little better, but not for long. When I want to go fast I drop down to my belly and really go.

Hello everyone!! Can you see that my eyes are starting to get red and goopy again? This picture was shortly after Mommy tortured me and wiped all the goo off. I finished my 2nd round of antibiotics on Valentine's Day and my eyes started getting bad again Saturday so I guess the sinus infection is back. I overheard Mommy telling Daddy that I have to go back to the doctor AGAIN! I don't want to go, I know I will have to see them on the 28th anyway for my 9 month appt and get shots. Yuck!! At least when I go to see them when I'm sick they don't stick me with needles.

Hey Mom, instead of going to the doctor tomorrow how about we go to Shakespeare's instead?

Hello everyone

I wanted to send you all a video of me waiving to all of you and clapping for you to say thank you for checking out my blog.

Here is another video of me riding my rocking butterfly. Notice how Daddy makes it like one of those bucking bull rides....I really have to hold on tight, he really makes it a lot of fun. Thanks Grandma, this thing is really fun. It's one of my new favorite toys! :)

I also wanted to make a note about my hair, I've had a few of comments about my hair looking red. It is rather confusing because in pictures with artificial light and flash my hair tends to look like it has a reddish tint to it (it probably doesn't help that our living room is a dark orange color either). My hair is as blonde as you can get. It always has been since the day I was born. Mommy says she hopes it stays this way just like my Daddy, I think it will. I love my pretty blonde hair. When we get into the spring and summer months and can get some pictures outside in the natural light everyone will be able to see how white blonde it really is.

Another tooth!

These things are coming in fast now! Just a little (okay, maybe a lot) of chewing and drolling on my part and out pops another one. Mommy noticed my recent accomplishment (another bottom front tooth to compliment the one I already have - now I have a matching pair) when I was taking a bath last night and laughing at Daddy and Puck who were playing chase up and down the hallway.....it really looked like so much fun and I can't wait to join in when I start walking!

Here I am at one of my favorite places in the house... the bookshelf. I told you before that I love to pull all the books off the shelf that I can reach. I still don't understand why Mommy isn't stopping me anymore, but I don't really care because it's so much fun to get these books, look at them, chew on them and spread them around. Mommy was laughing at me tonight and took these pictures so I can show you how much fun I have.

Can you see my tooth?

I know a lot of you haven't gotten a good look at my tooth yet so I wanted to show it off for all of you while I was taking a bath tonight. Isn't it the prettiest tooth you have ever seen? I really like to bite things with it and my Mommy says it's sharp and it hurts....I guess she would know. :)
