Birthday Party

Aunt Heather (Logan, Caden and Asher's mom) was kind enough to share some pictures from the party with us today. The pictures turned out GREAT and since I haven't had time to do anything with my pictures yet I thought I'd post these in the mean time. I think all the kids had a blast in the house and at the park.

Lauren's 3 yr checkup

Lauren had her 3 yr checkup today. Her height is 38 3/4" (90%) and weight is 30.9 lbs (50%) so she is right on track with her previous %'s. She did really well getting her blood pressure, ears and mouth checked out. In a few weeks she will go to her first dentist appt, she opens up really wide for me every night to brush her teeth, hopefully she will do the same for the dentist.

Zero

Lauren had a great birthday. We will try to get some pictures posted from last week soon. Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes and gifts!
One of Lauren's gifts from Marc and I was a fish bowl with 2 goldfish. Lauren named the fish "Zero" and "Tall". Sadly Zero didn't make it an entire day, I guess the shock of the water change was too much for him. Lauren was a little sad but seemed to understand that he went on to a better place (fish Heaven). As of this morning Tall was doing well swimming around in the bowl.

2 month checkup

Blake had his 2 month checkup today. He's doing really well and he is a BIG boy!! He is 24" tall (which puts him in the 85%) and weighs 13 lbs 9 oz (89%). He's a tough little guy, he got 3 shots today and his face got bright red and he let out a little cry and that was it, the doctor and nurse both commented on how tough he was for not really crying (I can't say the same for mommy, it's tough holding your child down to cause them pain even though you are helping them in the long run).
Lauren's stats at her 2 month appt were... 24" tall (95%) and 10 lbs 2 oz (32%).

Lauren has always been tall and thin, her weight has tended to hover around the 50% mark while her height has stayed around the 95% mark. Lauren has her 3 yr checkup in 2 weeks so we'll see how her numbers are at that time.

Some recent pictures - Blake is filling out and Lauren is growing up (way too fast). Hard to believe she'll be 3 in two weeks. Today Lauren said Blake would be all grown like her pretty soon. So we asked her - since she is all grown, then how much rent should we charge her to live here. She said $2. When we asked her to pay up, she said she would have to do chores. We'll see how that goes......
