New pictures!

Here are some pictures of me from this past week.

I've played outside a little since it has gotten a little warmer and LOVE it outside!!

Here I am tasting the lava rocks....yuck!

Mommy thinks it's funny to fix my hair during my bath. I don't care, I love my bath anyway.

I'm getting really good at feeding myself. My favorite meal is carrots, turkey sticks and ravioli (that is what's left on my tray here, and my chin, nose, cheeks and forehead...)

I also have learned how to stand on my own and walk while holding onto Mommy and Daddy's hands or while pushing my lion.

Here is a video of me on my first day that I learned to stand without holding onto anything.

I said no more pictures Mommy!!

Here I am using my lion to walk with. At first he was a little fast for me so Daddy is helping keep him more my speed for the videos, after a few times doing this with Daddy it was all me and the lion by ourselves by bedtime, I really love this little lion...

Clean bill of health

I went to the doctor today for my follow up ear infection appt. It's been a month since I last saw them and the doctor says that my ears, nose and throat look good and my chest sounds good so I'm officially given a clean bill of health.

One unhappy note about my visit is the doctor said that my blocked tear duct in my eye will never get better on it's own so he referred me to a Pediatric Ophthalmologist and I have an appt next Wednesday afternoon for him to look at my eye to see if he agrees with my doctor that I need a minor surgery to open up my tear duct. If he agrees then they will schedule the appt for my outpatient surgery. Wish us luck.

My current height and weight are 30.5" and 22lb 1oz. Now in the 75% of weight and 95% of height.

We have been so busy lately. Between Mommy and Daddy working, keeping the house spotless for possible showings, family visits, evening showings where we have to leave the house, Parents as Teachers meetings, going to look at new houses to buy there isn't a lot of time for other things...like sitting down and relaxing. We seem to be on the go every waking minute of each day so these postings will more than likely suffer until things get settled down, but we will do our best to keep as up to date as we can.

My newest skill is that I can stand up from a crawl without pulling up on anything and stand without support or holding on for several minutes. I get so excited though I tend to knock myself over by flapping my arms. I am getting so fast at crawling and cruising. I can't wait to start walking and then running!

I'll ask my Mommy to help me post some pictures and videos this weekend so you all can see my progress.

Chuck E. Cheese's

Here we are at my cousin Addison's 3rd birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. I'm sure glad she picked this place, my Mommy and Daddy never take me there!



Here I am with my big cousin Logan. Look how much he loves me! He was giving me kisses before this but Mommy was too slow with the camera.



Here I am playing with Logan at the slide. He was keeping an eye on me to make sure I didn't try to go down the slide by myself.






Okay, now Logan said we can go down the slide. He is such a big help. He is going to be a good big brother to my newest cousin due in May. He is already a good big brother to Caden so he has lots of practice.

It sure was a fun party. I was so tired that I went home and slept for several hours after the party!!

Fun in the bath

Here are some pictures of me taking a bath. Mommy styled my hair....doesn't it look pretty?




And here I am napping on Daddy. I was so worn out on Sunday that I fell asleep in this fun pose. Mommy tried to wake me up with the flash but it didn't work! Don't I look cool?

Monday

Well we had another busy weekend. Mommy and Daddy worked hard on the outside of our house last weekend. The weather was so nice, Daddy was working on power washing the siding while Mommy and I were inside, then Aunt Angelia and Sadie came over and kept me company (and brought me a cute little basket with all sorts of goodies from the Easter Bunny) then Mommy could go outside and work on the landscaping. It was so nice on Sunday Mommy went to the nursery and bought some flowers and planted them and made the flower beds really look nice. Daddy and I really had fun finding Mommy while she was working outside. I would find her at a window and squeal and pull up on my tip toes so I could see out and see her working in the flower beds. Daddy and I would even sneak outside and peek at her around corners. I'd get so excited as we approached the door to find Mommy that I would start squealing. I even had my first time sitting in the grass and loved it. I sat there with Mommy and plucked the grass, it was different and fun. Then I decided there was something I wanted down by the driveway so I hopped onto the sidewalk and took off crawling. Daddy and Mommy kept saying it couldn't have felt very good, not sure what they were talking about.

So Busy!

We've been so busy at our house lately. Mommy and Daddy have been working hard on the house in the evenings after I go to sleep and on the weekends trying to get things packed up and decluttered so we can list the house to sell. Last night we went to look at a house (perfect location, but not the perfect house for us) and our realtor Donna came to look at our house. She said all the hard work Mommy and Daddy have been doing has really paid off and there are only a few things left that Mommy and Daddy already had on their list of things to do, after that we are ready to list, so hopefully by the end of next week we can have our house on the market. Keep us in your prayers that we can sell quickly in this market.

I'm a full-fledged cruiser now. I pull up on anything and at all times and like to move around the room using furniture....unless I see something I really want and then I drop down to my belly and do my super fast army crawl in a race with Mommy and Daddy or Puck to get to the object I want (usually one of Puck's toys). I can do a regular crawl and will do that when I don't have any pressing engagements and am just out for a leisurely stroll around the room.

Here are some pictures of me with my new found talent of standing up anywhere I can find something to pull up on! Mommy was very surprised that morning to come into my room and find me standing up playing with some lotion I found on the night stand. I wonder what else I can get off of that thing, it's pretty handy to have all that stuff right there at my fingertips. :)




Here are me and Mommy Monday night. Daddy and Puck came in from a walk and caught us watching our favorite show....Dancing with the Stars. As you can see Mommy and I were distracted from our playing when the dancing started. We could hardly divert our eyes.

Okay Daddy, it's a commercial now so I can look at you and smile.
