Happy Easter!

After church I took a nap and we went to Fulton to see Grandma and Grandpa Deiter and Mim at the hospital. I had a lot of fun visiting with Grandma and Grandpa and Mim!!

Sad news

Great-Grandpa "Papa O.V." passed away yesterday. I loved snuggling up with him when I was a little tiny baby and had fun reading books on his lap when I got a little bigger. Here are some pictures of us together. I'm sure going to miss him!!

I got a package in the mail today from Nana and Papa. Mommy let me open it and there was a very nice card that I examined for a long time and had to taste several different parts to make sure it was okay...I decided it taste good and I like it. When I kept looking in the box I found the cutest fuzzy sheep for Easter. I love to pluck the hairs out of the little sheep one by one. This is so much fun. I also like to attack him and bite him. Last night was a long night. My ear hurt and kept me and Mommy and Daddy up most of the night. It sure makes for a long day when you only get a few hours of sleep at a time. I didn't take good naps today either so maybe I'll sleep well tonight. I got sick when I was eating before bed tonight and threw up within 5 minutes after Mommy and Daddy gave me my medicine so I had to get another dose. I then ate a little bit more and promptly fell asleep.

Sick again...

You wouldn't know it by looking at me, but I'm sick again. When Mommy picked me up from daycare Monday afternoon I was running a bit of a temperature (100.6). I was feeling better by the time I got home but Mommy gave me Motrin to help with the aches and pains that go along with a fever and she called the doctor, they said they wanted to see me Tuesday morning. When I woke up Tuesday morning I was feeling pretty good, no fever and hungry. By the time I went to the doctor my temperature was 99.1. They looked me over and told me I have an ear infection and bronchitis and gave me more antibiotics. Hopefully I can get better this time, I guess the sinus infection I've had for the past month and a half caused the fluid to build up in my ears and a few days after I finished my antibiotics it got infected. I really hate it when Mommy cleans out my nose but I know she is trying to help. The doctor also said Mommy and Daddy need to watch my cough and if it gets worse or if I have a hard time breathing then they will need to start some breathing treatments with me. I woke myself up at 4am this morning coughing so much. Mommy and Daddy were so tired that I got to go in bed with them, it was a lot of fun because I played and smiled at Mommy and Daddy while they were trying to get me to go back to sleep. I hope it doesn't get worse because I don't think I'm going to like the mask and breathing treatments any better than that nose sucker thing!

Busy weekend

Sunday was so busy. We got up early to get some stuff done around the house and so I could get a good nap in before we started the festivities. When I woke up from my nap we headed over to my cousin Tiffany's house to start our family Christmas. We had a lot of fun and I met my cousin Joel for the first time. I really like Joel, I couldn't stop looking at him and smiling at him!!

We had to hurry through opening presents so we could head over to my cousin Caden's birthday party. I had a lot of fun there too. There are 6 kids on the Schulte side of the family and Aunt Heather is going to have another one in May around my Mommy's birthday so that will make 7. I sure like all the kids and commotion that goes on when we all get together.

Here is my cousin Caden. It was his party, he turned 2. He's so old!! :) Look at all his presents...how cool. Caden was so nice and he brought me some of his cars to play with at his party, he's so sweet to share with his littlest cousin on his birthday. I think he's going to make a great big brother. Hopefully he will have a sister this time, Aunt Heather needs another girl around the house, she's outnumbered by the boys.

Hope you all enjoyed the stories of my weekend. Hopefully this weekend we can rest a little bit, but I doubt it. I heard Mommy talking to Grandma about helping at her house trying to get it ready to sell.

Baby Shower for my new cousin Logan

Tomorrow I have another big day so I turned in for bed early and was sound asleep at 7:45. Tomorrow morning we have our family Christmas in the morning (we were waiting until cousin Logan could join us) and tomorrow afternoon I have my cousin Caden's 2nd birthday party to go to. I'm going to be worn out tomorrow too!!

Visit with Great Grandma and Grandpa!

Last Wednesday night I went to visit with my Great Grandma Mim and Great Grandpa OV and to my great enjoyment Grandpa and Grandma Deiter were there as well. I had a lot of fun visiting with them. Mim taught me some new games and gave me some really great lovin'. Papa OV also gave me some really great lovin' and I got to read a book while sitting on his lap. We will have to go back and see them again soon because I had such a great time!!


Mom and Dad also picked up a new car for my comfort last Wednesday too. They bought a new Toyota Sienna minivan. I sure like riding around in there. I can see everything with all those windows and being so high, I really like looking around at all the new stuff that I missed out on before. Oh, I almost forgot. I had my 9 month checkup last Thursday. It went so well, I was expecting to get shots (between you and me I don't like them at all!!) but the nice doctor told me that I didn't have to have any shots this time. YEA!! I really like that doctor....for now. :) Here are all my stats from birth....look how I've grown!
