My favorite morning routine...

My favorite thing to do every morning when I wake up is to crawl into Mommy and Daddy's bed while they are getting ready for work and watch the Sprout channel....I get especially excited when Sesame Street comes on because that is my favorite show!

I love having control of the remote!! Look out Daddy because you are outnumbered by girls and we now have full control over all the tv's.

On Saturday mornings I like to eat some cereal and read the Business section of the paper to get a feel for the local business scene. I'm also planning my swimming lessons on this particular day. I can't wait to start taking swimming lessons!

Bubble Bath

Here I am in my first ever bubble bath! Let me tell you what fun I had, Mommy got in with me since the water has to be deep in her big tub so the jets can run and make all the fun bubbles. The jets were very fun and I liked pushing the button to turn them on and off! Then I practiced swimming with Mommy for a little while too since the tub is so nice and big.
I loved it and can't wait for the next one. Check out my pics...(btw: the bruise on my head was from when I fell at Kindercare and hit my head on the corner of a table.....it sure did hurt and I had a big bruise and goose egg to show for it)

My first bubble beard...

Daddy, I don't think you are suppose to be in here while the girls are taking a bath!

Great Grandpa and Grandma visit

I really loved visiting with my Great Grandpa and Grandma when they came to town. Look at the fun we had on the couch, of course I was acting silly towards the end because it was bedtime and I like to get silly at bedtime and make everyone laugh. :)

The future's so bright....

I gotta wear shades!!

Mommy painted my new room last weekend. I love the new color Mommy!! We still have to put the letters that spell my name above my crib, but I've been enjoying carrying them around too much to let Mommy have them long enough to get up on the wall. I've been trying to tell her that I'm just studying them to learn how to spell my name....but I guess she doesn't understand.

Beach

My first time to the beach and seeing the ocean was on our trip to Portland. I had a great trip to the beach and we stopped at a place called Camp 18 for breakfast. I got to pose with a statue of a bear with my friend Paige and a statue of big foot....I was on the lookout but didn't see the real big foot myself. I had so much fun playing in the sand once I figured out what it was and that I could get it all over myself and it would stick....it was really fun. Paige showed me how to shovel the sand and put it in the bucket. Thanks for showing me the ropes Paige!!
The ocean on the other hand was VERY cold and a little scary. I cried the first time the water hit my feet, but I got better once daddy was holding my hand and talking to me. Here are some pictures of my trip to the beach...

ROAR!!

Hmmmm. What is this stuff that I'm walking on?

This is kind of fun, it's a lot easier to play with than dirt!

Look, I can use this shovel to pile it up...

or put it in the bucket as Paige shows me.

Look Paige, I can drop it in your hands too!

This is SO MUCH FUN!!!

Look Mommy, I have it all over me!

What is all that commotion over there by the water? Let's go check it out!

I'm not sure I want to get down daddy!

Okay, I guess walking in the water isn't all that bad.

I was a little chilly after getting my feet wet in the cold water!

I'll post more stories about my trip later.
Love,
Lauren

Hi everyone!

I know it's been a long time since I've posted but boy have we been busy.

We sold our house and didn't have a house for 2 days so we had to stay with my Uncle Rich and Aunt Heather and my cousins Gillian, Cassidy and Addison. I sure had a fun time while we were there with them, those girls kept me entertained!

We moved into our new house on June 20th. Then I got sick a few days later and ran a very high fever for 3 days, the doctor said it was just a virus and he was right, the fever finally went away. I was very tired from being sick and slept a lot. Then on June 27th we spent the night in a hotel at the airport and on the 28th I took my first plane ride. It was fun. I was so tired from the excitement I fell asleep before takeoff. Then we landed in Dallas TX and I got to play at the airport McDonalds playland for a while. That was fun and I also had fun saying HI to everyone I saw....and there were a lot of people to talk to. Then we got on another plane. Again, I was so tired from talking to everyone I saw and playing so hard that I fell asleep before takeoff. I slept for a couple hours and then woke up and enjoyed the flight and even got to watch a little of my Sesame Street DVD before we landed. After we landed I saw Nana and Papa waiting for me with a big baloon. We stayed with Nana and Papa for 10 days and I sure did have a good time.

I will write more later about all the fun things I did with them and include pictures. I just wanted to give everyone a quick update about what I've been doing and share some of my most recent pictures that I had taken in Portland. Don't I look too cute in the 4th of July pics? :)

Love you all and I'll write more later and include pics from my vacation.
