Nana came for a visit in August from Portland. We played in the park, cooked her a birthday cake, went to Sedalia to see relatives, and went to Burger King several times! And the other day we went to my cousin Ethan's house for Sadie's 10th birthday party. Ethan took me for a ride in his John Deere.

In August we went to Illinois to visit daddy's aunt and uncle (Jim and Diane) and Jessica and Jennifer. We went to the zoo and had a great time. I picked up a whole sandwich for the first time to eat it.

Great Grandma Mim

My great-grandma Mim passed away last week (Grandma Betty's mom). She knew just how to cuddle with me, tell me stories, and was always so happy to see me. I'm going to miss her, she always made me smile. Sometimes I was shy around her, but I would later ask mommy and daddy how Mim was doing. I have some pictures of me with Mim.

Sprite

So this morning I was running later than normal, I got Lauren ready and was getting her a drink on our way out the door. I ask my darling daughter what she wanted to drink this morning (I personally was thinking along the lines of milk, apple juice or orange juice), Lauren looks up at her Mommy with the most serious face and says "How about a Sprite?" I in turn countered with "How about some apple juice?", then she countered with "How about a Sprite?" and gave me the cutest little girl smile. Seeing that it was already 7:40 and I'm suppose to be at work at 7:30 Lauren won the Sprite battle this morning, I just didn't have time to deal with a boneless screaming child puddle on the floor and trying to get that puddle of a child out to the car and into the car seat. She was very happy with her Sprite this morning. I just hope she doesn't expect that every morning now!

When my friend Landry came over we got to move the picnic table in to eat on, I really liked it but Mommy and Daddy didn't like that I could get up and go whenever I wanted so they moved it back outside and I'm back in my high chair now. Nana and Papa sent me a package in the mail. I love opening mail and I loved even more what was inside!!

Driving at 2

Tonight we went to dinner and I 'drove' daddy's car when we got home. Daddy can now take pictures and email them right away with his new phone. I can't touch the new phone. I don't understand because he says it's a blackberry and I can touch the blackberries behind our house. Earlier this week I picked some of those blackberries and ate them - they were really good!
