Jan/Feb Fun

Since there hasn't been any measurable snow this winter, we've played inside alot. Mommy and daddy haven't used the camera too much. Blake likes to read the catalogs that come in the mail. In this catalog, which is named after Mommy, he likes to point out the "be-bo's" (belly buttons). We also play on my bed, in the basement, and in empty tubs. We hope you are having a good winter.

Getting Ready For Christmas

Getting ready for Christmas was a lot of work. Blake is showing off the tree upstairs. Lauren and her friend Landry had a dance recital; the kids played in a box full of packing peanuts (it took awhile to clean up the mess); and Blake helped Vicki and Lauren make cookies.

Christmas Season

Blake and I are very excited for Christmas. We have been very good this year and I know Santa is watching us. We have seen him several times and I like to sit on his lap but get very shy talking to him. We have a special tree here in town that is decorated with over 37,000 lights, it's called the Magic Tree. We love to drive by and see the magic tree every year.
Mommy and I have been busy baking for the holiday season. We spend lots of time on the weekends in the kitchen making yummy treats for everyone to enjoy. Here are the reindeer that we made (along with some chocolate covered pretzels, we couldn't let the leftover chocolate go to waste)...

And the sugar cookies that we made (I got very creative with my Princess sprinkles, ask me how to make a bow tie out of glass slippers sometime!!)...

This is the Gingerbread house I made with my baby-sitter Ms. Janay.

First Snow of the Season

Tuesday morning we woke up to SNOW! Blake and I had so much fun playing at Aunt Heather's house in the snow. All the way to Aunt Heather's Blake kept saying "Momma, SNOW", he was really excited. Mom and Dad love the snow too.

Army training?

Perhaps our kids should join the Army. We're teaching them lots of valuable skills for that. Here are some pictures.
Sleeping in the field in a tent (or your own backyard).

Doing recon on targeted properties (our old house where we lived when Lauren was born - there was supposed to be an open house, but no one was there).

Preparing food outside over a fire (do Smore's count as food?)

Physical combat training

R&R at the end of the day

How to transport precious supplies - like pretzel sticks in a train.

Mess hall (Thanksgiving at Abeula's and Grandpa's)

Getting a haircut
