Lauren really wanted to try on some hand-me-down costumes for Blake (for future years). Here she is in a bear costume a few sizes too small. And below that she is showing some love for Blake. We took a long weekend in Branson recently and visited the Butterfly Palace - Lauren loved it along with the go-karts and putt-putt golf.
Nana and Papa sent some gifts - Blake's are laying around him and Lauren is holding one of hers. Thanks Nana and Papa! We'll send pictures of the kids in their costumes. Blake has officially crawled (not much but some) and is pulling up on lots of things.
A week and-a-half ago, Lauren wanted to go camping. So I found the tent and put it up while she was napping. She was very excited - we weren't sure she'd stay the whole night since it was her first time and it got down to the upper 30's. She had a blast and never mentioned the cold or wanting to come inside. Before camping we cooked marshmallow's and made smore's over a fire.
The backyard project that was started in April for the swingset and play area is now done. And Blake is getting closer to crawling......
Blake has been able to get anywhere he wants for quite some time now with his army crawl. He did recently start getting up on his hands and knees, here are some pictures of him crawling from Aunt Heather today.
My cousin 'big' Logan had his birthday party at Flipz. Blake, mommy, and daddy had a great time with the gymnastic equipment and so did I. Mommy and daddy didn't want the pictures of them on here. Blake took a tumble and came up smiling.

Lauren has had her first two soccer practices. It takes her a while to let go of her soccer ball, but she loves it. It's a group called Tiger Toes for ages 3-6.
Blake is a growing boy. He now weighs 19lbs 5.5 oz and is 27.5 inches long. The doctor said that puts him in the 75% but when I chart it on the website I use it says 81% and 84% so it looks like he didn't lose quite as much ground as we thought since he was up in the 90's on both height and weight last time. He did cry for a short time after the second shot this time, Marc said he wasn't sure if he even noticed the first one. :)
