Princess face painting

Last Friday we went to a Shelter Insurance celebration of Spring. I got my face painted like a princess and so did my friend Landry. Here we are:

Blake had his 1-year checkup the other day and he is 30 and 1/2 inches tall and 24lbs 4ozs. Both of those are in the 75th percentile. His head is in the 90th percentile.

Blake's 1st Birthday

Blake celebrated his 1st birthday in style. There were cupcakes, shared with his pre-school friends, and cake and cupcakes shared with his family. There were gifts at home from grandparents, parents, etc. and there was a party at Chuck E Cheese.















Everything is a toy to a 1-year old.

First Hair Cut

Blake had his first haircut last night. Mommy cut the back to make sure it doesn't grow into a mullet. I'm not sure what a mullet is but Mommy and Daddy say it's not good. I was in the bathtub while Mommy was cutting his hair, all I heard was Blake screaming. I think they were holding him down and he didn't like it. His hair does look much better now though. Mommy put the few locks she cut off in a ziplock bag to put in his baby book.

Blake loves this toy as much or more than Lauren did. Blake and Lauren had a great time at cousin Caden's birthday party at Flipz.
