Blake's 6 month appt

Blake is a growing boy. He now weighs 19lbs 5.5 oz and is 27.5 inches long. The doctor said that puts him in the 75% but when I chart it on the website I use it says 81% and 84% so it looks like he didn't lose quite as much ground as we thought since he was up in the 90's on both height and weight last time. He did cry for a short time after the second shot this time, Marc said he wasn't sure if he even noticed the first one. :)

Nana and Papa visit

Nana and Papa came for a couple of days. Blake and I wrestled with them, rode on them, and wore them out. Everyone had a great time.

Misc Summer Pictures

Here are some pictures from this summer - Ron's (Papa) visit, our trip to Wichita and our trip to Holyrood, KS. Blake is now eating some rice cereal.

Great Grandpa Anderson is helping Lauren with her Toy Story stickerbook.

Blake decided to change seats with Mommy for awhile on the ride home from KS.

Lauren ate breakfast with her Great-Grandpa Anderson.

How did Papa, dad, Blake, and Lauren all get in this house? And, how did they get OUT?

Blake is starting solids

Aunt Heather just sent these pictures of Blake. I will title them as she did in the email. I got a nice little chuckle looking at these with her captions. :)

Saying a prayer before his meal

What's that?

Aunt Heather, can I feed myself?

Great Grandpa Jones

My Grandpa Jones (Marc's mom's dad) passed away this morning after a stroke in February. He was 93. We went to see him late last week and came home yesterday. When he met Blake for the first time on Thursday he was able to raise an arm and tickle Blake's tummy making him smile and Grandpa smiled back. He was always optimistic, had a positive outlook, and remembered every joke ever told. Here are some pictures.......
