2 month checkup

Blake had his 2 month checkup today. He's doing really well and he is a BIG boy!! He is 24" tall (which puts him in the 85%) and weighs 13 lbs 9 oz (89%). He's a tough little guy, he got 3 shots today and his face got bright red and he let out a little cry and that was it, the doctor and nurse both commented on how tough he was for not really crying (I can't say the same for mommy, it's tough holding your child down to cause them pain even though you are helping them in the long run).
Lauren's stats at her 2 month appt were... 24" tall (95%) and 10 lbs 2 oz (32%).

Lauren has always been tall and thin, her weight has tended to hover around the 50% mark while her height has stayed around the 95% mark. Lauren has her 3 yr checkup in 2 weeks so we'll see how her numbers are at that time.

Some recent pictures - Blake is filling out and Lauren is growing up (way too fast). Hard to believe she'll be 3 in two weeks. Today Lauren said Blake would be all grown like her pretty soon. So we asked her - since she is all grown, then how much rent should we charge her to live here. She said $2. When we asked her to pay up, she said she would have to do chores. We'll see how that goes......

Having a little brother keeps me busy. I still like to read before my nap, but sometimes I can't make it through the whole book before I fall asleep.




Uncle Jim stopped by on his way to see my great-grandpa and take daddy with him. He brought Blake a Cardinals toy, but said something about seeing if he's a Cubs fan.

Grandpa took me to the creek on Easter to throw rocks. It was a lot of fun!

Easter 2010

Here are some pictures from Easter. Nana and Papa sent a box for Blake and myself which had lots of goodies in it. On Easter we found eggs at our house, then went to Grandma Schulte's for brunch and another egg hunt. I played with my cousins alot outside. Then we went to Grandpa Deiter's and Abuela's house in the Valley for another egg hunt. Grandpa and I threw rocks in the creek too. I'll put a picture of that here later - here are some pictures of our busy weekend!
